These vehicles can be taken apart and be attached as armor onto the Protoform figure that is included to make it resemble the character’s robot form from the movie. Having arrived on Earth prior to his fellow Autobots, the loyal scout Bumblebee attained his Earth vehicle mode early on. Once Bumblebee had confirmed the presence of the Allspark on Earth, he signaled the other Autobots. Forming a bond of friendship with Sam, Bumblebee retained his weathered Camaro mode until Mikaela referenced the mode as a piece of crap, at which point a slightly disgruntled Bumblebee scanned and reconfigured into an updated version.

Optimus Prime descended alongside his fellow Autobots as the scout Bumblebee, having confirmed the presence of the Allspark on Earth, gave the signal. Upon landing, the Autobots were revealed in their more organic looking Protoform modes. Prime and his fellow Autobots were reconfigured according to the scanned schematics of Earthly vehicles.
